The Kydyr List: Reflections on Jesus (Isa) as Kydyr-Messiah or Wanderer-Messiah, with the Silk Road’s Beliefs of al-Khidr

Also available as a PDF.

The following verses and reflections are derived from several sources: 1) the Quran, adapted from Alauddin Mansur’s translation, which was compared with Russian and English translations, and adjusted for contemporary language. These passages emphasize the significance of Jesus (Isa) as Kydyr, the Messiah, in Islamic tradition and Kyrgyz cultural context. 2) Additionally, the Central Asian concept of Khidr, as understood through Kyrgyz traditions and narratives which draw parallels with Jesus as the Messiah. This list was presented as a translated list, given to Jack by the Muslim youth in my fictional story, The Wanderer.

Part 1: Quranic Verses and Reflections on Jesus as Kydyr

  1. Quran 2:87 We gave Moses the Book and sent messengers after him. We sent Jesus, the son of Mary, with clear signs and strengthened him with the Holy Spirit. Yet, when messengers come to you, you often reject them, call them liars, or even kill some of them. Reflection: There is abundant evidence that Jesus is ourKydyr, the eternal prophet believed in by our ancestors. God provided “clear signs” for my people to believe in Him. Yet, today, many prideful religious leaders label those who follow Jesus as “liars” and even persecute them. Because I accepted God’s messenger, my own people have attempted to kill me. Why?

  2. Luke 19:14 (Biblical Reference) Many people do not want Jesus to lead them. However, God anointed(chose) Jesus in a distant place (heaven) to return to earth, defeat Satan, and rule over Muslims.

  3. Matthew 21:33–45 (Biblical Reference) When the vineyard workers saw the son of the vineyard owner, they said to each other, “This is the heir. Let’s kill him and take his inheritance.” Reflection: This parable reflects the rejection of Jesus, the heir, by those who seek to claim authority for themselves.

  4. Quran 2:136 Say, O Muslims: We believe in God and what He has revealed to us, to Abraham, Isaac,Jacob, and the tribes. We believe in what was given to Moses, Jesus, and the prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between them, and we submit to Him. Reflection: I thank God for this verse. Jacob's descendants have a voice in the Muslim world. I pray that one day, by God’s will, Arabs will believe in all revelations, including those given to the descendants of Manas, our Kydyr.

  5. Quran 3:84 This verse reiterates the message of Quran 2:136, emphasizing its importance by repeating the call to believe in all of God’s revelations and prophets without distinction.

  6. Quran 2:253 We favored some messengers over others. Among them are those to whom God spoke directly, and He raised their ranks. We gave Jesus, the son of Mary, clear signs and strengthened him with the Holy Spirit. Reflection: God exalted Jesus by giving him the titles “Messiah” and “Kydyr,” setting him above other prophets. He was granted unique powers to heal, create, and give life, surpassing all other messengers in Islam. Jesus sacrificed and gave more than any other prophet. He is like the eye of God,knowing what we eat and drink in our homes. His purity and humility made him the only prophet untouched by Satan. Unlike other prophets, he was not created from human fluid. God calls Jesus’ people “Israel”(Quran 2:47), his ancestors (Quran 3:33), and his mother (Quran 3:42) as exalted above all others. Those who follow Jesus are raised above those who disbelieve (Quran 3:55).

  7. Quran 3:45 God gave good news of His Word, whose name is Messiah Jesus, son of Mary, honored in this world and the hereafter. Reflection: Jesus is the “good news” from God. I love God’s joyful tidings, and even the threat of death cannot steal my joy. I have received God’s “good news.” Jesus is the “Word” from God,teaching us how to live in obedience among those who do not believe. I trust God’s Word; it is easy for me to understand. In Revelation 1, we see how Jesus is glorified in heaven. Those who love beauty, purity, art, and goodness long for Jesus. Mark 9 (Biblical Reference): A voice from heaven declared, “This is My belovedSon; listen to Him.”

  8. Quran 3:48 God taught Jesus the Law, the Gospel, and the Book of Wisdom. Reflection: God taught Jesus wisdom, but my people have been taught to despise this divine wisdom. As Proverbs 1:7 says, “The fear ofGod is the beginning of wisdom, but fools despise wisdom and instruction.” I once had a dream where a doctor and his assistant were cutting out the brains of most Kyrgyz people, wrapping them in plastic, and throwing them into a deep pit. This operation took place in a seemingly respectable building. Only a small portion of their brains was left, limiting their ability to analyze, discuss, create, or understand. My people have become foolish. If I remain silent about these corrupt religious leaders, I would share in their guilt. I must expose their falsehoods.

  9. Quran 3:49 Jesus said, “I come to you with a sign from your Lord. I create a bird from clay and breathe life into it, by God’s permission. I heal the blind and lepers, and raise the dead by God’s permission. I tell you what you eat and store in your homes. This is a sign for you if you believe.” Reflection: Kydyr—Jesus—continues to heal people in Kyrgyzstan. He is truly remarkable, unmatched by anyone (John 5:36; John10:25–38).

Quran 3:49 and 5:110 confirm that Jesus raised the dead, just as God does in Quran 3:27. No one else in Islam has performed such acts.

  1. Quran 3:55 God said to Jesus, “I will take you and raise you to Myself, saving you from those who insult you. I will place those who follow you above those who disbelieve.” Reflection: The Quran clearly teaches that God took Jesus, raised him, and will exalt his followers. Jesus was not killed by the Jews (Quran 4:157)but gave himself to death according to God’s will (Hebrews 10:5–12; Isaiah 53:10). His sacrifice for humanity's sins was God’s plan, as foretold by Prophet Daniel (Daniel 9:26). God desired reconciliation with humanity through Jesus’ sacrifice, reflected in our “Kurban Ait” (Feast of Sacrifice). Just as Abraham was asked to sacrifice his son, Kyrgyz leader Kurmanjan Datka sacrificed her son for peace, securing land for our people. Unlike the Kyrgyz, many nations like the Uyghurs, Dungans, and Kurds lack their own land, perhaps because they never offered such a sacrifice for peace. Matthew 5:5 (Biblical Reference): "Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth.” Jesus never fought but won the hearts of countless people through his humility.

  2. Quran 3:68 The closest to Abraham are those who follow him and his prophets. God is a friend to believers.Reflection: Abraham met Kydyr, was justified by faith, and now resides in paradise. He was not justified by fulfilling religious laws but by faith before his circumcision. I want to follow Abraham and his prophet, Kydyr.Abraham was a truly free man and a nomad. As Rumi said, “The conditions of scholars are merely the writings of a pen, but the conditions of Sufis are the paths walked by saints.” Kydyr—Jesus’ path—is our guide.

  3. Quran 3:98–99 People of the Book, why do you reject God’s signs and hinder those who believe in them?Reflection: Our imams and scholars, the “People of the Book,” study the Quran but reject God’s signs.Quran 21:91 declares Jesus a sign for all nations, yet they obstruct my faith in God’s messenger. They have altered translations of the Quran, removing verses about Jesus’ sacrifice, filling it with human interpretations to promote their version of Islam.

  4. Quran 3:100 If you obey the People of the Book, they will turn you back into disbelievers after you have believed. Reflection: Many mullahs consider me astray for following Jesus. They call themselves “People of the Quran,” but when I show them what the Quran says about Kydyr—Jesus—they refuse to listen.

  5. Quran 3:101 Whoever holds fast to God will be guided to the straight path. Reflection: My grandfather taught me to stand firm. I have clung to God’s light through Kydyr and received His true blessing.

  6. Quran 3:102 Fear God and die as Muslims in submission to Him. Reflection: I fear neither imams nor mullahs. Even if they kill me, I must fear only God and die in complete submission, as Jesus did.

  7. Quran 3:103 God established friendship. Reflection: When Kydyr visited Abraham’s tent, Abraham becameGod’s friend. I, too, have become God’s friend through Kydyr. I believe there is no other way to such friendship. God desires a personal relationship with us, which I never knew before.

  8. Quran 3:106–108 Some faces will be white, others black. To those with black faces, it will be said, “Did you reject faith after accepting it? Taste the punishment for your disbelief.” Those with white faces will dwell forever in God’s mercy. These are God’s verses, which we regard as truth. God does not desire harm for the world. Reflection: Quran 2:138 says God gives us color, and He gave Kydyr a white face on the mountain(Mark 9; Revelation 1). The Quran confirms Jesus as God’s mercy (Quran 19:21). True Muslims live inJesus, God’s mercy, and those on His right hand are justified forever (Quran 74:38–39; John 3:15–21).Jesus, with a white face, is a divine sign written not on paper but in pure hearts (2 Corinthians 3:3).

  9. Quran 3:137–138 Many paths and experiences have passed before you. Travel the earth and see the fate of those who denied God’s religion. This is a declaration and warning for humanity. Reflection: God speaks to us through global events. Regions that reject Jesus and follow anti-Christian teachings—such asIndonesia, Sudan, Chechnya, Algeria, the Philippines, Yemen, Somalia, Iran, Afghanistan, Iraq, Kashmir,Pakistan, Turkey, Kurdistan, the Balkans, and Batken—are marked by war, death, destruction, division, unending wounds. In contrast, systems rooted in true faith foster compassion, patience, joy, and care for one another.

  10. Quran 3:199 Among the People of the Book are those who believe in God and His revelations, submitting toHim. They do not trade God’s signs for a cheap price. Their reward is with their Lord, who accounts for their deeds. Reflection: At an Islamic conference in Bishkek, I met a Pakistani professor who privately affirmed that my discoveries align with true Islam. However, he could not support me publicly due to fear of losing his reputation. He noted that modern Muslims have become like the Jews and Christians of Muhammad’s time, rejecting God’s revelations. He shared that some Muslims across South Asia secretly study the Torah,Psalms, Gospel, and Quran, citing books like The Muslim Jesus by Tarif Khalidi and Jesus in the Quran byGeoffrey Parrinder.

  11. Quran 4:158–159 God raised Jesus to Himself, exalted in might and wisdom. All People of the Book will believe in him before their death, and on the Day of Judgment, he will testify against them. Reflection: God took Jesus, raised him, and desires all to believe in him. On the final day, Jesus will bear witness. What will he say? God, who raises the dead (2 Corinthians 1:9), has given Jesus authority to judge (John 5:22–23).

  12. Quran 4:171 Jesus, son of Mary, is the Messiah, God’s messenger, and His Spirit. Reflection: When God’sSpirit entered Mary, a new human was born from the Spirit. The first Adam was a living soul; the last Adam(Jesus) became a life-giving Spirit (1 Corinthians 15:45). Jesus prepares humanity for a second birth (Quran 53:47), and through him, we can receive God’s Spirit (John 20:22). As the last Adam, Jesus breathes life into clay, creating a bird by God’s permission (Quran 5:111).

  13. Quran 5:110 God said to Jesus, “You raised the dead with My permission.” Reflection: Jesus said, “The Son can do nothing on his own. As the Father raises the dead and gives life, so the Son gives life to whom hewills” (John 5:19, 21, 26). Jesus’ purity and humility made him untouchable by Satan, the only prophet fully guided by God and free from worldly chains.

  14. Quran 5:111 Jesus’ disciples said, “We believe we are Muslims and bear witness to it.” Reflection: TheQuran confirms that Jesus’ disciples considered themselves Muslims. Why, then, are Jesus’ followers labeled Christians? Our mullahs expel those who believe in Jesus from mosques, causing division. They fail to understand the Quran’s command to believe in Jesus, God’s clear sign.

  15. Quran 19:16–21 Mary went eastward to give birth to Jesus, conceived by the Holy Spirit, a sign for all nations. Reflection: Mary’s eastward journey signifies that Jesus will return from the east. Kyrgyz people await the white blessing from the east, as our hero Manas prayed facing east. Sacred tents and God's sanctuary face east (Exodus 27:13–16). Jesus, God’s glory, enters Jerusalem from the east (John 8:1–2;Luke 19:28–29). He is the Tree of Life in the east (Genesis 2:8; 3:24), the flawless son, untouched by sin orSatan (Quran 3:36–37).

  16. Quran 23:50 We made Jesus, son of Mary, and his mother a sign and gave them refuge on a high place with springs. Reflection: God placed Jesus on a mountain. Today, my people found him there. Jesus, the shepherd, seeks God’s lost sheep (Ezekiel 34; John 10) and will take us to our Edenic refuge, like a Kyrgyzgroom carrying his bride (Matthew 24:30–31; John 14:2–3).

  17. Quran 37:99–113 We gave Abraham good news of a son and provided a substitute sacrifice. Reflection:The son was offered as a great sacrifice. I, too, am offered to this great sacrifice. Today, the hands of the sacrificed are outstretched, and I am free from God’s judgment. I am truly free.

  18. Quran 98 (The Clear Evidence) Those who received clear evidence did not differ from the People of the Book. They were commanded to serve God and keep religion pure. Disbelievers will dwell in hellfire, but those who believe and do good are the best of creation, rewarded with Eden’s gardens. Reflection: Jesus came with “clear evidence” (Quran 19:16–38), the living Word of God (John 1; Quran 3:45). His coming divides believers from unbelievers (Quran 3:45–58). Those who reject him are guilty, but his followers are exalted as the best of creation (Quran 3:55).

  19. Quran 110 (The Help) When God’s help comes, victory arrives, and people enter God’s religion, they celebrate and glorify their Lord, praying for forgiveness, for He is near. Reflection: God’s help has come to Kyrgyzstan many times. Many have received His help, saved from Satan’s hand through His mighty hands, and entered God’s religion. We will not celebrate victory until we partake in God’s “great victory” (Quran 10:64).

  20. Quran 113 (The Dawn) Say, “I seek refuge in the Lord of the dawn.” a. Reflection: This reminds me of Mary fleeing eastward to find refuge and give birth to Kydyr—Jesus, God’s glory. The Quran says Jesus was born in the east, and the Gospel says He comes from the east like the rising sun. He is Kydyr, the Lord of the Dawn our ancestors believed in. The Gospel shows who the dawn is (Luke 1:78–79) and that we must take refuge in the “Lord of the Dawn.

Cultural and Spiritual Reflections

  • Jesus is the ultimate healer in Islam, the “good medicine” for disappearing Native American tribes and people (Luke 9:51–56). A Native American named Running Wolf gave me a song, “Jesus is Good Medicine,”reflecting our Kyrgyz belief in Kydyr as a healer.

  • Our mullahs fail to teach verses about Jesus, possibly to train youth as fundamentalists for war rather than to teach about God. If they were true Muslims, they would proclaim these verses.

  • In 1999, a Kyrgyz Quran translation included a verse stating God took Jesus, but in 2001, the same translator removed it. The Arabic Quran confirms God took Jesus. Why do our imams and scholars remove such verses? Do they want my people to remain in darkness?

  • Alisher Navoi, a 15th-century poet, called Jesus “Masih Kydyr” (Messiah Kydyr), affirming his role as the life-giving healer. Navoi’s writings reveal that I am not the first Central Asian to uncover Kydyr’s identity. This truth must not remain hidden for centuries more.

  • Our Kyrgyz epic, Manas, portrays Kydyr promising to aid Manas at the end of time, his pierced hands symbolizing God’s payment for our sins. Jesus, God’s mercy, frees our souls (Quran 19:21; Mark 16:19).

Call to Action I propose that every mosque in Kyrgyzstan keep two Bibles to affirm faith in God, and everyChristian gathering keep two Qurans to affirm love for neighbors. Let us open our hearts to the blessings of our ancient hills, embrace the forgotten healer, and allow Kydyr—Jesus—to touch our souls.

Part 2: Central Asian Concept of Khidr

The following list, given to Jack by a Muslim youth, outlines the Central Asian concept of Khidr as understood through Kyrgyz traditions, narratives, and the Manas epic, drawing parallels with Jesus as the Messiah.

  1. One of the seven, Khidr (Grandfather, Imam).

  2. He accompanies us when we set out on a journey. Our companion on the journey (Kyrgyz proverb).

  3. People do not recognize Khidr when they meet him. He may appear as a poor traveler (Grandfather; my professor).

  4. He can change his form (our Mullah; Elders).

  5. He often appears radiant and pure white, like the stars in the sky (Elders).

  6. His hand has a soft spot (Elders).

  7. When looking at the sun through his hand, the sun is visible, as if seen through tandoor bread(Grandmother, village women).

  8. He wanders places and blesses people (our Mullah).

  9. He comes at times of distress (Zarylbek, a hunter from Naryn).

  10. Those who receive him well receive blessings; those who do not lose their fortune (Grandfather,Grandmother, village elders).

  11. He meets every person once in their lifetime. Some say Khidr comes three times in one’s life (Imam, Uzbek taxi driver from Jalal-Abad).

  12. He lives from generation to generation (History teacher).

  13. He drank the water of immortality and lives forever (Philosopher professor).

  14. He often comes to the village riding a donkey (Grandfather).

  15. He often comes during Kurman Ait, the holiday commemorating Abraham’s sacrifice (Mullah).

  16. He may meet you at a spring, a mazar (holy site), or sacred places (Grandfather).

  17. He is the patron of the harvest (Kyrgyz scholars from Arslanbob, Manas epic).

  18. After completing his work, he disappears from sight (Grandfather, Manas epic, Tajik builders).

  19. He travels with his forty angels (our Mullah, Manas epic).

  20. He promises to help Manas with his angels on the Last Day (Elders, Manas epic).

  21. He changed the names of Manas’s peers (Manas epic).

  22. He named Manas before he was born (Manas storyteller, Manas epic).

  23. He walks on water without sinking. Only he crossed the Naryn River on foot (Altynbek, Uncle Beknazar).

  24. Khidr has no home or place to stay (Altynbek from Tian Shan).

  25. He is God’s right hand (Shepherd and a midwife from At-Bashy).

  26. He is like God in human form or the Son of God (Elder from the Suusamyr mountain pasture).

  27. The meaning of “Khidr” in Arabic is “Green Prophet,” because wherever he steps, green grass grows(Encyclopedia, Pakistani professor).

  28. He is the servant of all prophets; there is no prophet greater than him among the prophets (our Mullah,Kuwaiti Mullah at the Islamic conference).

  29. You must not let him go until you receive his blessing (young researcher from Chatkal).

  30. He is an angel or spirit in human form (Tajik builders).

  31. He is compassionate (Naryn orphan, Arabian Nights book).

  32. In my village, “the righteous wait for Khidr during Kurman Ait, the feast of sacrifice.” A Kazakh from Almaty said Kazakhs wait for Khidr on March 21, Nowruz (New Year). Some Mullahs say Khidr comes during KadirNight (Holy Night), when an angel appeared to Muhammad (Prophet’s Night).

Part 3: Stories from the Torah and Psalms

The Torah and Psalms also contain prophecies and stories about Khidr (or Khizr) appearing in a body like ours hundreds of years ago.

  1. Genesis 3:8 They heard the sound of God walking in the garden in the cool of the day. Reflection: DoesGod walk? This is romantic language. Is our God a romantic who loves humanity? Does God really walk with us in the garden? How close is our Creator to us? How true is His book? Allah says He sent this book to us.The Quran says if I am a true believer, I must believe it. O my Creator, I need Your light. You said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. Let light come to the darkness of my mind too.

  2. Genesis 5:22, 24 Enoch walked with God, and then he was no more. Reflection: Again, romantic language;God walks with those He loves, like lovers or friends in a park. We Kyrgyz say Khidr is the traveler's companion; when we set out, He is with us. Just as Enoch walked with God, we walk with Him in the same way. A foreign Mullah once mocked the idea of God “walking.” But God can do whatever He wills.

  3. Genesis 6:9 Noah walked with God. Reflection: God, I want to walk with You. Show me how a person can walk with the Creator.

  4. Genesis 11:5 & 18:21 God came down to see. Reflection: How does God come down from heaven? In what form does He appear? Perhaps He comes in human form to appear to us.

  5. Genesis 12:1–3 Through you, all the people of the earth will be blessed. Reflection: God’s sole purpose in history is to bless people and make them happy. He sends Khidr to fulfill this mission—to bless people and make them happy. Those who accept Khidr receive blessings; those who reject him lose blessings.Abraham was called to participate in Khidr’s work. Those who curse Abraham’s seed will be cursed; those who bless it will be blessed.

  6. Genesis 14:18–20 Melchizedek. Reflection: Like Khidr, who lives from generation to generation, he was a mysterious king and a unique prophet. Where did he come from? He was a priest of the Most High God (KokTengri), a completely different kind of king and holy servant (Psalm 110:4, Hebrews 7).

  7. Genesis 17:1–5, 15 & 32:28 God changed Abram’s name to Abraham and Sarai’s to Sarah. Khidr changesJacob’s name to Israel. Reflection: In Generous Manas, page 35, Khidr (Khizr or Khydyr) changes the name of “Chogo” to “Kutubiy.” In Matthew 16:17,18 & John 1:42, Prophet Jesus changes Simon’s name to Peter.

  8. Genesis 17:19 Khidr promises Abraham Isaac. Reflection: Just as Khidr named Manas before he was born,he named Isaac before his birth. In some versions of the legend, a Sufi or an unknown holy traveler namesManas.

  9. Genesis 18:1–21 The Lord appears to Abraham as a traveler, accompanied by two angels. Reflection: In the Manas epic, Khidr has 40 angels. Just as Khidr named Manas in the epic, the Lord foretells the birth of a son and names him. Our “God Guest” tradition comes from Genesis 18 (Hebrews 13:2). This is not a foreign scripture; it records our ancient Kyrgyz traditions and is very close to our cultural perspectives. Quran 3:49:He knew what people did and what they ate and drank in their homes. In Genesis 18, the traveler prophetKhidr knew Sarah laughed inside the tent. This section teaches important lessons for Kyrgyz youth. We must welcome everyone kindly, as one of them might be Khidr. We must trust God like Abraham and build a close relationship with Him. Hospitality and relationships are the most important qualities, which we often show during celebrations (verses 5–8). Quran 37:99–113: God, as Khidr, comes to Abraham and announces the good news of Isaac. Abraham welcomed Khidr well and received His blessing. God told Abraham to sacrifice his promised son. Some Arabs say it was Ishmael, but the Quran confirms Genesis 17–22 is correct. We must be honest. The Japanese Shinto festival “Ontohsai” for “Misakuchi-God” (Great Isaac) can contribute to our theme about Isaac. We don’t dismiss Arab arguments, but they could learn from ancient people living on earth. We also have sacred concepts.

  10. Stories Related to Abraham from Other Sources

  • Quran 4:125: Abraham is called God’s friend. “The best person in religion is Abraham.”

  • Quran 16:120–123: Even without Sharia or other laws, Abraham obeyed God. He lived before Judaism,Christianity, and Islam. Without religion, temples, Mullahs, or laws, he lived close to God. No one but God guided him. Reflection: We should not follow foreign teachings, traditions, or laws like religious teachers but be like Abraham, “God’s friend.” That’s why our ancestors taught us, “Do what the Mullah says, not what hedoes.” We can be free like Abraham. Organized religion was also Jesus’s enemy. Today, Christians andMuslims oppose Khidr Jesus, only recognizing the Jesus they imagine. Abraham met Khidr under theMamre tree, a sacred place he established years before. We believe we meet Khidr at sacred sites(mazars). Genesis 18 could be a book on its own.

  • Genesis 19: Angels come as travelers to Sodom and save Lot from punishment. Those who welcome angels are saved; those who mistreat them are cursed. Just as Khidr promised to help Manas with his angels on the Last Day, these angels helped Lot escape Sodom’s punishment. Jesus’s angels will gather us on the Last Day. The Quran says no one but God can help us on the Last Day. So, who is Khidr? Who isJesus? Both are helpers on the Last Day. Work on this. This story is in the Quran too. Every Muslim knows no one but God can help in the end times. What is God trying to tell us?

  1. Genesis 26:12–14 Isaac sowed barley in that land and reaped a hundredfold that year because the Lord blessed him. Reflection: Isaac clearly received Khidr’s blessing (a Khidr-anointed person). A similar story occurs when Manas sowed with Khidr and reaped a great harvest (Generous Manas, page 53). Jesus brought a few loaves and fed thousands.

  2. Genesis 32:22–32 He wrestled with someone until dawn. Reflection: Jacob wrestles with an angel (Khidr),not letting go until he receives a blessing. This aligns with our tradition: “When greeting him, don’t let him go until you receive his blessing.” Jacob wrestled with Khidr at dawn. My grandfather woke me before sunrise to seek Khidr’s blessing for the day.

  3. Genesis 32:32 To this day, the sons of Israel do not eat the thigh tendon. Reflection: To this day, Kyrgyz, descendants of Manasseh, do not eat the thigh tendon. Even in the Bible and Quran, Jacob, our Kyrgyzancestor, was a deceiver yet blessed, just as Westerners are blessed today. Romeo: Our young researcher thinks Kyrgyz come from Israel, specifically Manasseh’s tribe. If you have time, look at Genesis 48, whereManasseh becomes Jacob’s son. “Jacob’s son Manasseh” is very close to “Jacob’s son Manas.” He didn't elaborate further.

  4. Genesis 37:15–17 Joseph meets someone. Reflection: This story is very similar to my grandfather meetingKhidr. The man helps Joseph fulfill his request. If this wasn’t Khidr, why is this special event recorded inGod’s book? I believe Joseph met Khidr and became a “Khidr-anointed person.” That’s why he was blessed in Egypt. He’s like my grandfather. Joseph’s brothers were jealous and persecuted him. Joseph forgave them and named his firstborn Manasseh, meaning forgiveness and forgetting. I must forgive those who tried to kill me, like Joseph.

  5. Genesis 48:16 The angel who saved me from evil, bless these boys. Reflection: Jacob blesses Manasseh(Manas) and Ephraim. Similarly, our hero Manas was a Khidr-anointed person.

  6. Exodus 3:2 The Lord appears to Moses in a burning bush. Reflection: But was it God in the bush? God often appears to people as an angel. This could be Khidr.

  7. Exodus 14:19 The Lord’s angel led and protected Israel. Reflection: This “angel” was Israel’s journey companion.

  8. Exodus 20:6 (34:7) When the Lord declares Himself, He says, “The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, showing mercy to thousands who love Him and are faithful.” Reflection: I think this is why God's mercy is still on our people. Many Kyrgyz ancestors (Jacob, Manasseh/Manas, etc.) loved Khidr and received his mercy, which continues to this day. God said this on the holy mountain to Moses. That’s why our people honor mountains.

  9. Exodus 23:20–33 The Lord’s angel leads Israel to a new land (1 Corinthians 10:4). Reflection: Was this angel Khidr? Tajik builders said Khidr is the spirit of an angel.

  10. Joshua 5:13–6:27 Joshua meets the commander of the Lord’s army. Joshua circles Jericho with trumpets.“On the seventh day, you will circle the city seven times, and the priests will blow trumpets, and the city walls will collapse to their foundations” (Joshua 6:4,5). Reflection: “Day of Wrath” (Quran 74:8–10). To this day,Kyrgyz do not circle things like cars or yurts, believing what they circle will be cursed. The Jericho event seems preserved as a folk tradition and duty in their hearts.

  11. Deuteronomy 18:15–19 Moses said, “Your Lord God will raise a prophet from among your brothers. TheLord says, ‘I will put My words in his mouth,’ and you must listen to him.” Reflection: There are many similarities between Jesus and Moses. An evil king (Pharaoh and Herod) killed children at their birth. Both were called to the wilderness, walked in mountains, etc. Manas’s life events are very similar. This verse says we must listen to that prophet. Mark 9: When Jesus appeared as Khidr, God said, “This is My beloved Son,listen to Him.” Jesus is from Jacob’s tribe. He wasn’t a foreigner.

  12. Deuteronomy 23:13,14 When you go out to the field, dig a hole and cover your waste. For the Lord God walks through your camp to save you and deliver your enemies. Let Him find nothing unclean. Reflection:We Kyrgyz still do this. Unlike other nations among us, we go far away.

  13. 2 Chronicles 16:9 The Lord’s eyes roam the earth to support those whose hearts are fully His. Reflection:I’ve never heard anyone call Khidr “the Lord’s eyes,” but Kyrgyz Khidr roams the earth.

  14. Zechariah 4:10 Who can call this day insignificant? The seven eyes watching Zerubbabel’s construction with joy are the Lord’s seven eyes roaming the earth. Reflection: Thus, “the Lord’s eyes” are the seven candlesticks. Seven is Khidr’s number. So, Khidr might be “the Lord’s eyes” roaming the earth.

  15. Revelation 5:6 Seven eyes, the seven spirits God sent to the earth. Reflection: Early Muslims recognizedJesus as God’s Spirit (Muslim Jesus, Khalid). The Quran also calls Jesus God’s Spirit (4:171). I concludeKhidr—Jesus is “the Lord’s eyes” roaming the earth.

  16. Job 19:25 My Redeemer lives, and on the Last Day, He will raise my decaying flesh from the dust.Reflection: Job endured all trials until Khidr’s blessing returned. I must do the same.

  17. Isaiah 2:2–5 In the last days, the Lord’s house will be set above all mountains, higher than all hills, and all nations will stream to it; many will enter Jacob’s God’s house. Reflection: Could this be Khidr’s house? ThePsalms say God placed His king on the Lord’s mountain. This mountain king could be Khidr, likeMelchizedek. Psalm 24:3: Who can ascend the Lord’s mountain?

  18. Isaiah 9:6,7 A child is born to us, a Son is given. Authority rests on His shoulders, and He is calledWonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. His dominion and peace will have no end on David’s throne. He will establish it with justice and truth forever. The zeal of the Lord of Hosts will accomplish this. Reflection: “Child”: Kyrgyz seers have legends of a naked child guiding and guarding them.Could this be the child Isaiah saw? Quran 3:46: Jesus spoke from the cradle and speaks to nations today(21:91). Is Jesus that “royal child”? Quran 19:21 and 21:91 say Jesus is a sign for all nations. Melchizedek,Khidr, and Jesus are unique kings. Their kingdoms are different, operating on various levels.

  19. Isaiah 11 From Jesse’s stump. The Spirit of the Lord, wisdom, and understanding rest on Him. No evil or harm will be done in My holy mountain, for the earth will be full of God’s knowledge as the sea is full of water(verse 9). Reflection: David asked, “Who can ascend the Lord’s mountain?” The Quran confirms God’s Spirit with Jesus (5:110), and Allah gave Jesus a refuge on the mountain (19:16–18, 23:50). Thus, Jesus can ascend the mountain of peace, the center of God’s mountain (Isaiah 65). Do mountain peoples have an international role in establishing peace and refuge? In Kyrgyzstan, we have “Tengri Too.” The Quran andBible say Satan tempts people, and nations reject Allah’s signs (Psalm 2). This leads to conditions for a third world war. Can Kyrgyzstan escape this war and make its mountains a refuge? Can we be a homeland of peace for those who love peace? How can we make our mountains God’s holy mountain, free of disease and destruction?

  20. Isaiah 16:1,2 Send lambs from Sela to the ruler through the desert to the mount of Zion’s daughter. ForMoab’s daughters at Arnon’s fords are like a bird fallen from its nest. Reflection: I don’t understand this. ButJesus is called the Lamb. He went to rulers Pilate and Herod. He went to the desert for fasting and to the mountain, His true nature. Now, He wanders the earth as if cast out from His societal, religious, and political nest.

  21. Isaiah 32:15 Until the Spirit is poured on us from above, and the desert becomes a garden, and the garden is considered a forest. Reflection: This resembles Khidr’s blessing, turning barren land lush and fruitful. TheQuran’s special places relate to Jesus’s connection with the Holy Spirit. Quran 3:137,138 says we can seeGod’s final judgment by observing nations. The barren Arab nation rejected all evidence of Jesus as Khidr.Only He can make the desert green and give life to the dead (Quran 5:110). Yet, many Arab brothers do not accept Jesus in modern Arabia or their version of Islam, so their land is not green.

  22. Isaiah 40:3–11 Prepare a straight path for the Lord; make a straight road in the desert for our God. Then theLord’s glory will come, and every person will see God’s salvation.

Behold, the Lord God comes with power and might. Reflection: Khidr—Jesus is God’s right hand. God promised Khidr will come, and all will see him.We say he meets each person once in their lifetime. The Quran speaks of a meeting—the day we meetGod. In Khalil Gibran’s book, there’s a parable about meeting Khidr: “I met him at the crossroads, a man in a cloak with sores, with deep sorrow on his face.” God wants us to prepare a straight path for Him.

  1. Isaiah 41:10 Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, help you, and uphold you with My righteous right hand. Luke 22:69: Khidr—Jesus is God’s right hand. Quran74:38,39: “Every soul will be held for its deeds except those on the right hand, who will be saved.” God gaveKhidr long life. Those who take Khidr—Jesus as refuge are saved from the spirit of death for lawbreakers.Matthew 25:34: The King will say to those on His right, ‘Come, you blessed by My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you before the world was created.’ Quran 67:1: Blessed is He who holds the universe in His hand.

  2. Isaiah 49:8–13 The Lord says: ‘In a favorable time, I heard You; on the day of salvation, I helped You. I will preserve You and make You a covenant for the people, to restore the land and give the desolate inheritance to its heirs, saying to prisoners, “Come out,” and to those in darkness, “Appear.” They will feed along the roads, and their pastures will be on all hills.’ Reflection: Jesus is Allah’s mercy (Quran 19:21), guiding us,living in unattainable heights. God placed Him (Quran 23:50) in a high place to lead us and restore our unattainable mountain heights. Only Khidr—Jesus shows us mercy, speaking our language and culture to tell us about paradise. No other holy person has treated my people this way. Khidr—Jesus is our prophet.

  3. Isaiah 49:16 I have engraved you on My palms. Reflection: Perhaps Khidr—Jesus remembers us every time He looks at His hands, how precious we are to Him, and the great price He paid for Kyrgyz.

  4. Isaiah 50:2 God says, “Is My hand too short?” Reflection: Jesus, God’s right hand, has the power to save.Anyone asking, “Can Jesus save?” is questioning God’s power.

  5. Isaiah 52:7 How beautiful are the feet of the messenger on the mountains, proclaiming salvation, goodness, peace, saying to Zion, ‘Your God reigns!’ Reflection: This verse speaks of Khidr’s journey—his feet on our mountains. We see Khidr’s mission: to bring good news, peace, compassion, and salvation. In theManas epic, Khidr does much of this, blessing people. Khidr tells Kyrgyz, “Your God reigns.” Our heavenlyTengri reigns. Amen. Romeo: The translator said “Kok Tengri” or “Heavenly Tengri” is the ancient Kyrgyzname for the true God.

  6. Isaiah 53:1 Who has believed our message? To whom has the Lord’s arm been revealed? Reflection: There is much evidence about Jesus, God’s arm, but few believe.

  7. Isaiah 53:2 He had no beauty or majesty to attract us. Reflection: We Kyrgyz say when we meet Khidr, there’s nothing special to recognize him by. Often, he appears as a poor, distant traveler we don’t want. IsGod testing our pride by appearing as a poor, unwanted traveler? Every time I speak about Jesus publicly,I’m tested. If I fear people and not God, I’d never speak of Jesus. If I’m truly Muslim, I’d boldly speak of Khidr—Jesus, “God’s Mercy.” This is my faith’s test. I feel it every time I show compassion or speak publicly.“Whoever does not welcome him loses their blessing forever.” Now Khidr comes to us as Jesus, a prophet from the most despised and rejected nation. Will we humbly accept him, or remain poor in our pride? EveryMuslim’s heart is revealed by how they treat Khidr. Isaiah 53 speaks of the sorrow on Khidr’s face, as KhalilGibran said: “Khidr, in a cloak with sores, with deep sorrow on his face.”

  8. Isaiah 59:9, 15–20 God wears righteousness as armor and salvation as a helmet (kalpak—national hat),going to those turned away from Jacob’s corruption. Reflection: Note: Jacob is Manas’s father, one of ourKyrgyz ancestors. Thus, all Kyrgyz are under Jacob’s name. Now is the time Khidr visits many in our nation. Many say in dreams or visions, Khidr wears a kalpak.

  9. Isaiah 63:8–10 So the Lord became their Savior. When troubles came, He did not abandon them; His angel saved them. With His love and mercy, He redeemed them, carrying them from ancient days. But they rebelled, grieving His Holy Spirit. Reflection: Khidr—the angel with God’s presence—always comes to my people! Khidr has come since ancient times, but we grieve His Holy Spirit, which the Quran calls Jesus.

  10. Isaiah 65:9–25 Verse 9: God says, “I will bring forth descendants from Jacob, heirs to My mountains fromJudah. My chosen will inherit it; My servants will live there.” Reflection: Khidr—Jesus, from Judah’s line, inherits God’s mountains (Quran 23:50). The Quran and Gospel say Jesus and David were on the mountain.Verse 11: “But you who forsake the Lord and forget My holy mountain.” Reflection: Kyrgyz honored mountains but now turned to the desert. We’ve become those who forget the Lord’s holy mountain. Verse 25:“The wolf and lamb will graze together; they will do no harm in My holy mountain,” says the Lord. Reflection:The mountain king, Khidr—Jesus, brings peace to warring nations and tribes. When Islam, Christianity, andJudaism honor Khidr as our ancestors did, there will be peace.

  11. Jeremiah 2:17 The Lord was leading you, but you abandoned Him. Reflection: The Lord is our journey companion, guiding us. Forgive me and my people, God. We abandoned You.

  12. Jeremiah 8:21 Seeing my people’s destruction, I am destroyed. Reflection: Khidr—Jesus knows people's ruin. He is near us. Jesus took bread, broke it, and gave it to His companions, saying, “This is My body, broken for you” (Luke 22:19, 1 Corinthians 11:24). Kyrgyz never cut bread; we break it as Jesus’sbody was broken.

  13. Jeremiah 10:23 Lord, I know a man’s path is not his own. (Isaiah 11:7,8) Reflection: This is clear.

  14. Jeremiah 17:8 He is like a tree planted by water, sending roots to the stream. He feels no heat, his leaves stay green, he fears no drought, and never stops bearing fruit. Reflection: Arabs call Khidr the GreenProphet; Northern Europeans call him the Green Man. This verse exemplifies Khidr bringing grass and harvest wherever he goes.

  15. Ezekiel 1:26 Above their heads, on what looked like a sapphire throne, was a figure like a man. Reflection:Who was the man Ezekiel saw? It must be Khidr—Jesus, seen by many Kyrgyz in dreams, visions, and spiritual encounters. Manas’s father, Jacob, saw Khidr when he was told of Manas’s birth.

  16. Ezekiel 34:11–13 The Lord God says, ‘I will search for My sheep and look after them. As a shepherd checks his flock when among scattered sheep, so I will check my sheep, rescuing them from where they were scattered on a cloudy, dark day. I will bring them out from the nations, gather them from countries, and bring them to their own land, feeding them on Israel’s mountains, by streams, and in all inhabited places.’Reflection: This verse states Khidr’s purpose. Khidr—Jesus came to find my people and return us to ourCreator.

  17. Ezekiel 34:23 I will set one shepherd over them, My servant David, to feed them. He will be their shepherd.Reflection: How is David connected to Khidr—Messiah? (Luke 18:35–43) The Quran links Jesus and David to the mountain (Quran 21:91,92, John 10).

  18. Daniel 7:9–28 (13) Daniel saw in a vision “one like a son of man” from ancient days. Reflection: This son of man matches the Khidr my people see in visions.

  19. Habakkuk 2:7 I will shake all nations, and they will bring their treasures, filling this house with glory, says the Lord of Hosts. Reflection: God shakes nations, and we turn to our youth’s desire, Khidr—Jesus, the desire of all nations. I’m curious if all nations picture Khidr the same way. If Khidr—Jesus meets each person once, other nations’ legends and spirits must also have Khidr concepts.

  20. Zechariah 2:6–11 One like the Lord lives among His people.

  21. Zechariah 4 Verse 2: “Seven,” Khidr’s number. Verse 2: “Candlestick,” Khidr’s light. Verse 6: “By My Spirit”(Quran 4:171). Khidr’s help. Verse 7: “Chief stone.” Jesus is Islam’s strongest prophet and the chief stonefor all ages (Quran 5:110). Verse 7: “Grace.” Jesus is God’s mercy (Quran 19). Verse 9: “Temple.” Is JesusGod’s house? Verse 9: “The Lord sent me.” All must obey what Allah sent. Verse 10: “Those seven eyesrejoicing are the Lord’s seven eyes roaming the earth.” Reflection: “The Lord’s eyes are everywhere, watching good and evil” (Revelation 4:5, 5:6; 2 Chronicles 16:9; Proverbs 15:3). Jesus—Khidr is “the Lord’seyes” among us. The Quran says Jesus comes with signs (21:91). When he comes, he sees what we eatand drink in our homes (Quran 3:45). His heavenly eyes. Seven, his number, roams villages, and his eyes ofknowledge are a sign. Jesus Messiah is our Khidr. He is “the Lord’s seven eyes”—the great light of earthlyparadise. The Quran and early Muslims called Jesus “God’s Spirit” (Quran 4:171, Muslim Jesus, Khalid).

  22. Zechariah 9:9,10 Your king comes to you, humble, riding a donkey. He speaks of peace to the nations.Reflection: My grandfather and elders said Khidr often rides a donkey. A donkey symbolizes humility, not frightening anyone. Jesus is the humblest prophet, a perfect example for true Muslims. Sufis in Islam honorJesus for his humility, simplicity, and sacrificial life.

  23. Zechariah 13:6 What are the wounds on your hands? Reflection: These wounds identify Khidr; they are his credentials. The Quran says God killed Jesus (3:55), and another verse calls his birth, death, and resurrection a blessed day (19:33). Khidr—Jesus’s hands testify to these Quranic verses. The Quran says all God’s messengers are persecuted and beaten. Jesus is despised by all nations. His hand wounds are signs of Allah’s persecuted and wounded Messiah. Jesus came to Kyrgyz and Muslims with wounds provingGod sent him, suffering and dying. “No messenger came without being mocked” (Quran 36:30). Jesus is the sign sent to all nations (Quran 21:91), mocked by all. Now he bears wounds. “Through his great sacrifice, our ransom was paid” (Quran 37:107). My ransom was paid too. Thank you, God. When I entered the poets’gathering, I sang of Khidr’s hand. People were inspired and rejoiced, and my heart soared.

  24. Zechariah 14:8 On that day, living waters will flow from Jerusalem, half to the eastern sea, half to the western sea, in summer and winter. Reflection: Jerusalem, with two flowing waters, is linked to Jesus.Legends say Khidr can be found where two waters meet (Quran 18:60). Ezekiel 47:9: “Where the two streams enter, everything lives.” Isaiah 55:1: “Waters” (plural).

  25. John 7:37,38 On the last day of the feast, Jesus stood and said loudly, ‘If anyone is thirsty, let them come toMe and drink. As the Scripture says, from the heart of whoever believes in Me, rivers of living water will flow.’Reflection: If we believe as the book says, waters flow from our hearts where Khidr—Jesus lives. This is the water of immortality that gave Khidr his roaming life (Quran 18:61–63). This water gives strength to heal people.

  26. Isaiah 30:25,26 On the day of great slaughter, when towers fall, streams and rivers will flow on every high mountain and hill. When the Lord binds His people’s wounds and heals their injuries, the moonlight will be like sunlight, and the sunlight seven times brighter, like the light of seven days. Reflection: On September 11, 2001, New York’s famous skyscrapers fell. Now, “death is rampant.” Terrorism covers the earth.Kyrgyzstan’s great mountains witness Jesus’s coming. The water of immortality flows from my heart throughKhidr—Jesus, healing many hearts.

  27. Jeremiah 2:13 God says, “My people have done two evils: they abandoned Me, the fountain of living water, and dug broken cisterns that hold no water.” Reflection: My Kyrgyz people long abandoned Jacob andManas’s God. Now we chase distorted philosophies and religions, like communism, that cannot give the water of immortality, joy, or blessings. Fear, deceit, control, and foreign religions have become our faith's foundation.

  28. Revelation 22:1,2 He showed me a crystal-clear river of the water of life flowing from God’s and the Lamb's throne. In the middle of its street, on both sides of the river, was the tree of life, bearing twelve crops yearly, its leaves for healing nations. Reflection: Quran 54:12,13: Waters from heaven and earth meet purposefully.Noah’s salvation ark, built with planks and nails, reflects Jesus’s cross. Quran 18:60: Moses met Khidr at“the junction of two waters.”

4. More Comparisons from the Book of Revelation

  1. Revelation 12
A dragon stood before a woman about to give birth, ready to devour her child. She gave birth to a male child destined to rule all nations with an iron rod. The child was taken up to God and His throne. Thus, the great dragon—the ancient serpent known as Satan, the devil who deceives the entire world—was cast down to the earth along with his demons. Enraged with the woman, Satan went to wage war against her other children, those who keep God’s commandments and bear witness to Jesus Christ.
Reflection: Satan’s sole enemy is Jesus and those who uphold His commandments. Satan marshals all his strength and cunning to destroy Jesus, our Kydyr. This conflict engulfs both heaven and earth, leaving no one neutral. Jesus comes to aid us all. Satan seeks to keep us from the white blessing and the living water. To prevent people from encountering Jesus, Satan fabricates lies, sects, religions, and philosophies. We must be wise to avoid his deception. I am appalled by the falsehoods in my religion. We tell people of a holy stone floating in the air in Mecca, claiming it is so sacred it cannot be captured on film. Yet, every honest pilgrim I’ve spoken to confirms no such stone exists. Many Kyrgyz dervishes know this is a lie but dare not speak it openly. Others claim Neil Armstrong heard someone reciting the Quran in Arabic on the moon, yet those same liars assert Americans never landed there, merely filming in Hollywood. Today, we are drowned in lies and misleading research that deceive the world. Is there anyone truly devoted to the truth?

  2. Revelation 19:11–21
On the Last Day, Kydyr—Jesus comes to judge the nations.
Reflection: This verse aligns with the beliefs of Muslims, Christians, and Jews regarding the Messiah.

  3. Revelation 21:9–12
    Kydyr’s bride.
Reflection: Jesus is the true companion (bridegroom).

  4. Revelation 22:2
In the middle of its street, on both sides of the river, stood the tree of life, bearing fruit for the healing of the nations.
Reflection: This is a sacred place, a mazar. Kyrgyz people expect to meet Kydyr in such places, where he grants blessings that heal. My grandfather hoped I would find this blessing for our people.

  5. Revelation 22:20
    Come, Jesus, Lord, come.
Reflection: As a child, I prayed the same way, “Come, Kydyr, come.”

5. Evidence from the Book of Psalms

Psalm 2

"The kings of the earth rise up, and the rulers take counsel together against the Lord and His Anointed" (verse 2).

Our Kyrgyz ancestors, the epic of Manas, and God’s Holy Book warn us not to reject God’s chosen one. Falsehood can be so powerful that the true hero goes unrecognized. Many people believe in falsehood and perish in their foolishness. In the Manas epic, Semetey, the son of Khan Manas, grows up among other people. When he reaches twelve years old, he sets out for his homeland, but the Kyrgyz people do not accept him as their true king. We often reject the one chosen by God. As a result, we face defeat and fall into slavery.

How can we know if we are following the true leader? How can we recognize a true leader?

"For I have set My King on My holy hill of Zion" (verse 6).

A leader chosen by God rules not in the desert but on the mountain.

Quran 54:54-55 states that a righteous person lives in gardens and rivers, in the mercy of the Mighty King. Quran 23:50 says that Allah gave Jesus a refuge on a high place with springs and shelter. "Kiss the Son, lest He be angry, and you perish in the way" (verse 12).

I don’t know how to kiss Khydyr (Jesus), but I honor him as the most trustworthy and true Muslim I have met in my life.

Psalm 15:10-11

"For You will not leave my soul in the place of the dead, nor will You allow Your Holy One to see corruption. You will show me the path of life; in Your presence is fullness of joy, at Your right hand are pleasures forevermore."

Khydyr never corrupts or decays. He rose from the grave and is alive to this day. He is my guide (my companion on the journey); only he knows the path of life. Whoever greets him is blessed. Their joy is complete because their sins and guilt are never counted against them (Quran 74:38-39; Psalm 32:1-2).

Psalm 17:10

"He bowed the heavens and came down."

The faithful God descends from heaven to our level, looking directly into our eyes. He understands us and knows what we feel. He is very close to humanity and compassionate. I can feel His presence beside me. He is like a father bending down to embrace his children.

Psalm 21:13-14

"Many bulls have surrounded me; strong bulls of Bashan have encircled me. They open their mouths against me, like a roaring lion tearing its prey."

This verse resembles a prophecy that the descendants of Manas from the Bashan mountains will come to hate Jesus. (Luke 19:14). Even though we did not stand by when Jesus was crucified, the Kyrgyz people participate in rejecting him.

Chingiz Aitmatov suggested that we, too, were involved at the place called Golgotha, where Jesus died.

The Kyrgyz nobility (bulls) often oppose and accuse Jesus (Ezekiel 34). Our elites do not discuss Jesus like intelligent people; they rage against him like hungry lions, desiring jihad. What drives this opposition to Jesus?

This verse, describing strong and fierce bulls surrounding me, feels like a prophecy foretold about what happened to me in my village, similar to how the Arabs surrounded Israel on the sixth day of war. Victory comes from the Most Merciful Allah (Quran).

Romeo: Our young researcher believes that our Kyrgyz ancestors descended from the tribe of Manasseh, who once lived in the Bashan mountains east of the Jordan, as mentioned in the Bible. I’ve started studying religion, and it’s far more fascinating than I imagined.

Psalm 21:17

"They pierced my hands and my feet."

Thus, Khydyr bears wounds or holes in his hands. (Zechariah 13:6). With those wounds, he saved us from the fiery cauldron. Cholpon, the holes in Jesus’ hands signify his love for us, and it is said that this is where God hides His power (Habakkuk 3:4; Quran 67:1). The great Central Asian poet Alisher Navoi also found the love of paradise in the Messiah.

Psalm 33:16

"The eyes of the Lord" (2 Chronicles 16:9).

Khydyr must be "the eyes of the Lord," roaming the universe and appearing to each person at least once (or perhaps three times) in their lifetime. He sees whether we are righteous or not. Our righteousness is measured by how we receive him, whether well or poorly.

Psalm 64:10-14

"You water the earth abundantly..."

We must be able to recognize him when he comes to us (Luke 19:42-44). The Arabs say that the land where Khydyr treads turns into lush meadows. Thus, countries that welcome Khydyr are greener than those that reject him.

Quran 3:137-138 states that we should learn from the punishments that befell other nations.

If this is true, why do people go to the dry, withered deserts of the West? The Arab desert is full of countries that rejected the green prophet and his disciples.

Manas and our ancient ancestors worshipped the East, and only then did people find strength (Ezekiel 43:1-5). The Quran says, "Turning your face to the East or West is not righteousness; righteousness is believing in Allah, the Last Day, the Holy Scriptures, and the prophets."

Creator, teach me wisdom. Please, teach me.

Psalm 67:7,9-10

"O God, those who do not obey You will remain in the scorching desert. When You went out before Your people, when You marched through the wilderness, the heavens melted before Your face. O God, You poured abundant rain on Your inheritance; when it was weary, You strengthened it."

This may explain why some Arabs who came to Kyrgyzstan claim that the Bible (Torah, Psalms, and Gospel) is corrupted. They don’t want us to read about our rebellious people living in a withered desert. They want us to think they are better Muslims. You might call me a nationalist, but I believe Kyrgyz people are better Muslims than Arabs.

May God forgive the Arabs for forbidding my people from reading Allah’s book.

Psalm 84

A beautiful psalm about the green prophet who turns places into lush meadows.

Verse 14, in the English translation, says, "Righteousness goes before Him and prepares a way for His steps."

Psalm 88:10

"You rule the raging of the sea; when its waves rise, You still them."

Jesus fulfilled this prophecy (Mark 6:45-52; Luke 8:22-25). The Kyrgyz say that Khydyr walked across the raging Naryn River.

Psalm 95:13

"He is coming to judge the earth."

Some say this coming judgment is eternal happiness, while others say it is the complete destruction of our souls. I await the day when justice is established among people.

Psalm 100:1-2

"I will sing of mercy and justice; to You, O Lord, I will sing. I will ponder the way that is blameless: 'When will You come to me?' I will walk in my house with a pure heart."

King David, like the Kyrgyz, desired Khydyr’s blessing.

Psalm 103:3-4

"You make the clouds Your chariot; You ride on the wings of the wind. You make Your angels winds and Your servants flames of fire."

The wooden cross at the center of the Kyrgyz tunduk (yurt’s roof opening) seems to signify that Khydyr-Messiah and his sacrifice are at the heart of our culture. It is an international symbol surrounded by forty flames, also present in our sacred flag.

The Manas epic says Khydyr has forty chilten (angels). His forty servants are represented as forty flames in our flag. This psalm says He makes His servants flames and walks above the wind. This aligns with the mullah’s teaching about Mary’s son Jesus coming with angels.

Quran 2:210: "Do they wait for Allah to come with His angels in the shade of clouds?"

Acts 2:2-3: "Suddenly, a sound like a mighty rushing wind came from heaven, filling the house where they were sitting. Then tongues like flames appeared, dividing and resting on each of them."

Khydyr’s prophecy for Manas is fulfilled in Acts 2. Khydyr’s companions help Manas’ companions.

Psalm 109

"The Lord said to my Lord, 'Sit at My right hand until I make Your enemies a footstool for Your feet.'"

David, the great leader of God’s people, saw two Lords. One was God, and the other must be Khydyr-Messiah, our prime minister. The second Lord is the right hand, the prime minister in heaven.

David is like Manas. Both were young shepherds who killed giants and became heroes of their people. Both performed feats without weapons. Both saved their people and brought them freedom. Both had a friend who was the son of a treacherous king. Both had 37 or 40 warriors, three of whom were especially brave. Both were anointed by wise men. Both met Khydyr and received his blessing.

Psalm 138:1-12

"Your hand guides me; Your right hand holds me fast."

God’s right hand is with us wherever we go—whether with Muslims, our Tengrist faith, Christians, or Jews. We cannot hide from Him. What Allah desires is that we believe in Him and the signs He sends (Quran 21:91; John 6:28-30).

Appendix: Quranic Verses and Reflections on Jesus as Kydyr (Messiah)

The following verses and reflections are derived from the Quran, adapted from Alauddin Mansur’s translation, compared with Russian and English translations, and adjusted for contemporary language. These passages emphasize the significance of Jesus (Isa) as Kydyr, the Messiah, in Islamic tradition and Kyrgyz cultural context.

1. Quran 2:87

We gave Moses the Book and sent messengers after him. We sent Jesus, the son of Mary, with clear signs and strengthened him with the Holy Spirit. Yet, when messengers come to you, you often reject them, call them liars, or even kill some of them.

Reflection: There is abundant evidence that Jesus is our Kydyr, the eternal prophet believed in by our ancestors. God provided “clear signs” for my people to believe in Him. Yet, today, many prideful religious leaders label those who follow Jesus as “liars” and even persecute them. Because I accepted God’s messenger, my own people have attempted to kill me. Why?

Luke 19:14: Many people do not want Jesus to lead them. However, God anointed (chose) Jesus in a distant place (heaven) to return to earth, defeat Satan, and rule over Muslims.

Matthew 21:33–45: When the vineyard workers saw the son of the vineyard owner, they said to each other, “This is the heir. Let’s kill him and take his inheritance.”

2. Quran 2:136

Say, O Muslims: We believe in God and what He has revealed to us, to Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and the tribes. We believe in what was given to Moses, Jesus, and the prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between them, and we submit to Him.

Reflection: I thank God for this verse. Jacob’s descendants have a voice in the Muslim world. I pray that one day, by God’s will, Arabs will believe in all revelations, including those given to the descendants of Manas, our Kydyr.

3. Quran 3:84
This verse reiterates the message of Quran 2:136, emphasizing its importance by repeating the call to believe in all of God’s revelations and prophets without distinction.

4. Quran 2:253

We favored some messengers over others.

He is like the eye of God, knowing what we eat and drink in our homes. His purity and humility made him the only prophet untouched by Satan. Unlike other prophets, he was not created from human fluid. God calls Jesus’ people “Israel” (Quran 2:47), his ancestors (Quran 3:33), and his mother (Quran 3:42) as exalted above all others. Those who follow Jesus are raised above those who disbelieve (Quran 3:55).

Romeo: The translator noted that in Kyrgyz, the word “Mashayak” means Messiah, similar to the Hebrew “Mashiach,” which also means Messiah.

5. Quran 3:45

God gave good news of His Word, whose name is Messiah Jesus, son of Mary, honored in this world and the hereafter.

Reflection: Jesus is the “good news” from God. I love God’s joyful tidings, and even the threat of death cannot steal my joy. I have received God’s “good news.” Jesus is the “Word” from God, teaching us how to live in obedience among those who do not believe. I trust God’s Word; it is easy for me to understand. In Revelation 1, we see how Jesus is glorified in heaven. Those who love beauty, purity, art, and goodness long for Jesus.

Mark 9: A voice from heaven declared, “This is My beloved Son; listen to Him.”

Our Quran clearly shows that Jesus is the Messiah. No one in Islam has been elevated so highly or given such a great title. There is no dispute that Jesus is the Messiah for Muslims, Christians, and Jews.

6. Quran 3:48

God taught Jesus the Law, the Gospel, and the Book of Wisdom.

Reflection: God taught Jesus wisdom, but my people have been taught to despise this divine wisdom. As Proverbs 1:7 says, “The fear of God is the beginning of wisdom, but fools despise wisdom and instruction.” I once had a dream where a doctor and his assistant were cutting out the brains of most Kyrgyz people, wrapping them in plastic, and throwing them into a deep pit. This operation took place in a seemingly respectable building. Only a small portion of their brains was left, limiting their ability to analyze, discuss, create, or understand. Most of my people have become foolish. I sat in my room watching this horrific act. If I remain silent about these corrupt religious leaders, I would share in their guilt. I must expose their falsehoods. Foreigners teach us to hate Jesus, deny His death, and despise the wisdom God gave Him. “They do not value God’s signs, their ears, eyes, hearts, and minds reject God’s signs” (Quran 46:26). “O foolish Kyrgyz! Was not Jesus, crucified, portrayed clearly before your eyes? Who has bewitched you to disobey the truth?” (Galatians 3:1). Every Kyrgyz knows from history and the art world that Jesus, the Messiah, Kydyr, was crucified, as evidenced by His hands. Have some cruel mullahs hardened our minds by teaching my people to deny Jesus’ death?

7. Quran 3:49

Kydyr—Jesus said, “Behold! I come to you with a sign from your Lord. Behold! I fashion a bird from clay and breathe into it, and it becomes alive by God’s permission. I heal the blind and lepers, and raise the dead by God’s permission. I tell you what you eat and store in your homes. This is a sign for you if you believe.”

Reflection: Islam’s healer continues to heal people in Kyrgyzstan. Kydyr—Jesus is truly remarkable, unmatched by anyone (John 5:36; John 10:25–38). Quran 3:49 and 5:110 confirm that Kydyr—Jesus raised the dead, just as God does in Quran 3:27. No one else in Islam has performed such acts. Once, a Native American named Running Wolf gave me a CD with a song by the local Native American group “Broken Walls” titled “Jesus is Karalomka” (Jesus is Good Medicine). In Kyrgyz, we call someone blessed by Kydyr a “Kydyr-daarygan” person, meaning “healed” or “cured.” Jesus is truly good medicine. He heals all religions. Jesus is Islam’s greatest healer, the “good medicine” for disappearing Native American tribes and my people, coming to heal and save (Luke 9:51–56). “Behold! If you believe, He is a gift given to you.” If our mullahs were true Muslims, why don’t they teach my people such verses? Maksat thinks mullahs didn’t come to teach about God but to train youth as fundamentalists for war. If they taught about God, they would teach about Islam’s holiest figure and these verses.

8. Quran 3:55

God said to Jesus, “I will take you and raise you to Myself, saving you from those who insult you. I will place those who follow you above those who disbelieve.”

Reflection: The Holy Quran clearly teaches that God took Jesus, raised Him, and will exalt His followers. Jesus was not killed by the Jews (Quran 4:157) but gave Himself to death according to God’s will (Hebrews 10:5–12). Jesus’ death as a sacrifice for sins was God’s will (Isaiah 53:10). God caused His death. Jesus’ hands prove that God took Him and raised Him for the sins of all nations. The Messiah’s death was foretold by Prophet Daniel (Daniel 9:26). God desired reconciliation with humanity through Jesus’ sacrifice. Our “Kurban Ait” (Feast of Sacrifice) explains God’s “great” sacrifice. God asked Abraham to sacrifice his son. Why? For peace, Kyrgyz leader Kurmanjan Datka also sacrificed her son. As a result, today the Kyrgyz have their own land. Unlike the Kyrgyz, larger and stronger nations like the Uyghurs, Dungans, and Kurds still lack their own land. Perhaps the Uyghurs, Dungans, and Kurds never made a sacrifice for peace. They have fearlessly fought for land. We Kyrgyz are a humble people. Now we have our own land, while many other nations do not. Matthew 5:5: “Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth.” Jesus never fought. He was humble. Now the whole world turns to Him. He has won more hearts (land) than anyone in history. If Palestinians had made a sacrifice instead of fighting, would they have their own land? What could they do to bless their enemies? Can the Middle East learn from Kurmanjan Datka and my people? The Jews sacrificed six million people and gained a small piece of land. Did merciful God grant them land in His compassion? Do we accept God’s mercy? Merciful God, teach me humility and sacrifice. “Give your mother to the one who killed your father.” “Return a stone’s blow with bread.” “Bless those who curse you.” “If someone takes your outer garment, give your inner garment too.” “Love your enemy.” “Forgive and forget” (Genesis 41:51, the meaning of the name “Manas”). In 1999, a Kyrgyz Quran translation included a verse stating God took Jesus, but in 2001, the same translator removed it. I checked the Arabic Quran, and it confirms God took Jesus. Why do our imams and scholars, the “People of the Book,” remove crucial verses from God’s Word? Do they want my people to remain in darkness? This is no small mistake. If we don’t understand Jesus’ sacrifice, our people will never find the true path. Who made this error, and why do our religious leaders shout about justice and correct translations for other matters but remain silent about such significant mistakes?

9. Quran 3:68

The closest to Abraham are those who follow him and his prophets. God is a friend to believers.

Reflection: Abraham met Kydyr, was justified by faith, and now resides in paradise. He was not justified by fulfilling Sharia laws but by faith before his circumcision. I want to follow Abraham and his prophet, Kydyr. Abraham was the freest man and a true nomad. Abraham’s prophet was Kydyr. Muslims are told to follow this prophet. Rumi said, “The conditions of scholars are merely the writings of a pen, but the conditions of Sufis are the paths walked by saints.” Kydyr—Jesus’ paths are our conditions. Abraham became God’s friend after welcoming Kydyr well.

John 15:13–17: “If you keep My commandments, you are My friends.” This is the true definition of being a Muslim (Quran 3:52). We must submit to God’s messenger as Abraham did.

10. Quran 3:98–99

People of the Book, why do you reject God’s signs and hinder those who believe in them?

Reflection: The “People of the Book,” our imams and those who study the Holy Quran, reject God’s signs. Quran 21:91 declares Jesus a sign for all nations, yet they obstruct my faith in God’s messenger. Unfortunately, these “People of the Book” translated the Quran into Kyrgyz, removing verses about Jesus’ sacrifice and filling it with human interpretations against God’s merciful messenger and His ancient book. They want my people to believe in their version of Islam. Jesus said to them, “Woe to you Pharisees (imams) and scholars, hypocrites! You travel land and sea to win one convert, and when you do, you make them twice as much a child of hell as yourselves” (Matthew 23:15). These people are pushing my nation into a worse state than during atheism. These “People of the Book” cause trouble for my believing friends, like Kanat and others. Many long for Jesus, but their intimidation prevents belief.

11. Quran 3:100
If you obey the People of the Book, they will turn you back into disbelievers after you have believed.

Reflection: Many mullahs I’ve met consider me astray for following Jesus. They call themselves the “People of the Quran,” but when I show them what the Quran says about Kydyr—Jesus, they refuse to listen. The Quran contains beautiful confirmations about Jesus and the Good News.

12. Quran 3:101

Whoever holds fast to God will be guided to the straight path.

Reflection: My grandfather always taught me to stand firm. With all my strength, I have clung to God’s light. Now, through Kydyr, I have received God’s white blessing.

13. Quran 3:102

Fear God and die as Muslims in submission to Him.

Reflection: I do not fear imams or mullahs. Even if they kill me, I must fear only God. I must die in complete submission, as Jesus did.

14. Quran 3:103

God established friendship.

Reflection: When Kydyr visited Abraham’s tent, Abraham became God’s friend. I, too, have become God’s friend through Kydyr. I believe there is no other way to such friendship. God desires a close, personal relationship with us. I didn’t know God was like this before.

15. Quran 3:106–108
Some faces will be white, others black. To those with black faces, it will be said, “Did you reject faith after accepting it? Taste the punishment for your disbelief.” Those with white faces will dwell forever in God’s mercy. These are God’s verses, which we regard as truth. God does not desire harm for the world.

Reflection: Quran 2:138 says God gives us color, and He gave Kydyr a white face on the mountain (Mark 9; Revelation 1). The Quran confirms Jesus as God’s mercy (Quran 19:21). True Muslims live in Jesus, God’s mercy, and those on His right hand are justified forever (Quran 74:38–39; John 3:15–21). Jesus, with a white face, is a divine sign, not written on white paper but in pure hearts (2 Corinthians 3:3). Our Quran confirms Jesus is a sign from God (Quran 3:34; 4:171).

John 1:14: The Gospel confirms this concept.

John 1:18: Jesus is God’s revelation and image.

Revelation 19:13: “His name is the Word of God.”

Perhaps we need Confucius or Eastern philosophers to understand that a holy person can be God’s Word and revelation. The difference between a living message and a messenger is vast. God has placed the message above the messenger (Quran 2:253). These Quranic verses (3:106–108) fulfill the prophecy in Isaiah 25:7: “On this mountain, He will destroy the veil covering all nations, the shroud over all tribes.” When we stand in God’s mercy with the mountain king (Psalm 2), our veil of darkness is removed, and our righteousness shines. Solomon said, “A person’s wisdom makes their face shine” (Ecclesiastes 8:1). Psalm 79:4: “God, restore us; let Your face shine, that we may be saved.” God does not want any of us to perish.

Matthew 13:24–43: “The Son of Man will send His angels to remove from His kingdom all that causes sin and lawbreakers, throwing them into the fiery furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Then the righteous will shine like the sun in their Father’s kingdom. Whoever has ears, let them hear!” Those who reject faith after accepting it will be burned, as their nations reject their Father’s kingdom. These verses apply to my people. Our ancestors tasted God’s goodness but then turned against Him (“We turned away from the Lord”). We all broke God’s commandments (committed lawlessness). But those on God’s right hand and in His mercy are justified. They will not go to hell (Quran 74:38–39). When my people see Kydyr in dreams or meet Him, as written in the Quran, His face and clothes shine brightly.

Romeo: The translator noted that white in Kyrgyz language and art signifies purity, holiness, justification, or piety.

16. Quran 3:137–138

Many paths and experiences have passed before you. Travel the earth and see the fate of those who denied God’s religion. This is a declaration and warning for humanity.

Reflection: God speaks to us through current international events. What is He saying? Places that oppose Jesus (antichrist) and follow Arab teachings are marked by war: Indonesia, Sudan, Chechnya, Algeria, the Philippines, Yemen, Somalia, Iran, Afghanistan, Iraq, Kashmir, Pakistan, Turkey, Kurdistan, the Balkans, Batken, and more. Despite many other reasons for wars, I have lived according to God’s commandments: With my mind, I traveled the earth, studying the outcomes of those who rejected Kydyr. The result is war, death, destruction, division, unending wounds, and eternal torment. According to God, such darkness stems from selfishness and disbelief. Where systems are rooted in true faith, there is compassion, patience, joy, and care for one another. If we valued God’s judgment, we would learn from Jerusalem’s destruction in 70 AD, foretold in Luke 19:41–44. Our Arab teachers say that unless we align with their teachings, Kyrgyzstan will face division and war. Why? Maksat says Arabs declare jihad against those who don’t submit to them. Our Arab teachers are as corrupt as the Christian religious leaders of the Dark Ages. May God protect us from their trap.

17. Quran 3:199

Among the People of the Book are those who believe in God and His revelations, submitting to Him. They do not trade God’s signs for a cheap price. Their reward is with their Lord, who accounts for their deeds.

Reflection: Last year, at an Islamic conference in Bishkek, I met a professor from Pakistan. Privately, he told me my discoveries align with true Islam. However, he could not support me publicly, fearing loss of reputation. He noted that modern Muslims have become “People of the Book” after receiving the Quran, similar to the Jews and Christians of Muhammad’s time. He showed me many examples of God’s judgment on Muslims who reject, hide, or distort His revelations in the hereafter. The Pakistani professor said there are Muslims who believe in all four of God’s books, secretly studying the Torah, Psalms, Gospel, and Quran across South Asia. He gave me books by Tarif Khalidi, *The Muslim Jesus*, and Geoffrey Parrinder, *Jesus in the Quran*. He said God told him to bring these books to the conference.

18. Quran 4:158–159

God raised Jesus to Himself, exalted in might and wisdom. All People of the Book will believe in him before their death, and on the Day of Judgment, he will testify against them.

Reflection: God took Jesus, raised Him, and desires all to believe in Him. On the final Day of Judgment, God will allow Jesus to bear witness. What will He say? God, who raises the dead (2 Corinthians 1:9), has a special reason for giving Kydyr—Jesus authority on the final Day of Judgment (John 5:22–23). Will Arabs allow our small country to believe in Jesus within Islam?

19. Quran 4:171

Jesus, son of Mary, is the Messiah, God’s messenger, and His Spirit.

Reflection: When God’s Spirit entered Mary, a new human was born from the Spirit. “The first Adam was a living soul; the last Adam became a life-giving Spirit” (1 Corinthians 15:45). The last Adam (Jesus) prepares humanity for a second birth (Quran 53:47). Through Jesus the Messiah, we can all receive God’s Spirit—God’s breath. “He breathed on them and said, ‘Receive the Holy Spirit’” (John 20:22). The new Adam, the Messiah, our companion, calls us not to religious divisions but to spiritual life. “For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ has set me free from the law of sin and death” (Romans 8:2). God said to Jesus, “You fashioned a bird from clay and breathed into it, and it became a bird by My permission” (Quran 5:111). Jesus, the “last Adam,” is the life-giving Spirit from heaven. “He kills and makes alive” (Quran 53:44). “The second Adam is the Lord from heaven” (1 Corinthians 15:47). No one in Judaism, Christianity, or Islam has received such authority from God. Jesus has the life-giving breath of God (Quran 32:7–9).

20. Quran 5:110

God said to Jesus, “You raised the dead with My permission.”

Reflection: Jesus said to people, “The Son can do nothing on His own. As the Father raises the dead and gives life, so the Son gives life to whom He wills. For as the Father has life in Himself, so He has granted the Son to have life in Himself” (John 5:19, 21, 26). Islam’s healers cannot do anything unless God helps them. Jesus was so pure and humble that Satan could not tempt Him. Kydyr—Jesus was fully guided by God. He is Islam’s great figure, free from the world’s chains, dedicated to this mission. No one in the world has been so free. Only Jesus was entrusted with such power.

21. Quran 5:111

Jesus’ disciples said, “We believe we are Muslims and bear witness to it.”

Reflection: The Quran confirms that Jesus’ disciples considered themselves Muslims. If the Quran says so, why are Jesus’ followers called Christians? One reason is that our mullahs do not allow those who believe in Jesus to remain in Islam. Our mullahs expel “Muslims who believe in Jesus” from mosques, causing division among our people. They fail to understand the Quran’s command to believe in Jesus, God’s clear sign. They oppose God’s clear guidance. Another reason many Kyrgyz become Christians is that Christian missionaries do everything to make Kyrgyz Christians. This is not good. Those who make people Christians succeed in converting many Kyrgyz and use them for their purposes (Galatians 4:17). As a result, many Kyrgyz follow Christians instead of Jesus, listening to Christians who don’t understand our culture, language, or people. These foreigners don’t even know that our Kydyr is their Messiah. Kydyr’s companions are the freest Muslims on earth. We submit to God alone, not foreigners. We have no fear and no defeat!

22. Quran 5:112–115

Jesus feeds people from a heavenly table.

Reflection: The Gospel also says Jesus fed people out of compassion (Mark 8:1–21). Kyrgyz call Kydyr “the patron of the harvest.” In the *Manas* epic, Manas and Kydyr miraculously reaped a great harvest.

John 4:35–38 and Luke 10:2 show Jesus’ disciples participating in the harvest.

23. Quran 6:154

Meeting with the Lord.

Reflection: God desires to meet with us. Kyrgyz say we all meet Kydyr once in our lifetime. Some mountain tribes say we meet him three times. The Lord comes in Kydyr’s form to meet us face to face. I know Muslims who follow Jesus but have never seen Him. Yet they say they’ve met Him because they’ve received His white blessing and know He’s present in their lives. Fortunately, I have seen Him with my own eyes and met Him, an experience I will never forget.

24. Quran 6:158

They wait for angels, or the Lord, or the Lord’s signs to come.

Reflection: This is further proof in Islam that the Lord will come to us. Come, Lord, come. Come to my people. Come to our dreams, thoughts, minds, relationships, and lives. Nothing can stop You. You are good. You are wonderful. We want You; we need You. We cannot be saved by human strength or religious rules. Only You can help. Come, meet us.

25. Quran 7:56–58

With His mercy, God sends rain and makes the earth fruitful.

Reflection: Because Arabs rejected God’s mercy and Jesus, their land does not yield rain (Quran 7:130). Life is so simple. We just need to accept Kydyr—Jesus, God’s mercy. The “Dark Ages Teachings” spreading from the Arab world are very confusing. We must go to foreign cities, learn their language, wash according to specific rules, grow and trim beards per certain regulations, buy holy clothes, drink holy water, and even urinate according to their rules. Instead, I find it right to accept God’s mercy and be Kydyr’s companion. All green places on earth are those given freedom and open to Jesus. Places opposed to the Messiah are dead and fruitless. Jesus says, “You will know prophets by their fruits.” If Arabs were good, they would give good fruit to the world. If they are bad, they give bad fruit. I haven’t seen Arabs give the world anything new or good except oil from their ancient deeds. Their current fruit includes international wars, slavery in Sudan, oppression of women, racism against Jews, Americans, Turks, Kurds, and happy Afghans. Their actions are getting worse, even worse than the pagan conquerors of the West. Thank You, God, for last year’s abundant harvest. You blessed my father’s harvest. Forgive my people. Let forests grow again in our scattered mountains. If our leaders fearlessly recognize Jesus and allow Him to make our withering nation fruitful, we could be an example to all Muslims.

26. Quran 10:7–8, 11, 45–46

God meets us.

Reflection: Yes, Heavenly Tengri came down to me and appeared to me.

27. Quran 11:69–77

Our messengers came to Abraham with good news, greeting him with peace. They said, “Peace,” and he replied, “Peace,” and brought a roasted calf. They said, “Do not fear.” When We announced the good news of Isaac, and after Isaac, Jacob, his wife laughed.

Reflection: This verse is also in the Torah and is as mysterious as written in Genesis 18. According to the Quran, we don’t know if these messengers were God’s angels or God Himself. Similarly, in this Quranic verse, God refers to Himself as “We” and His disciples as “they.” Both the Quran and Torah recognize Isaac as the promised son and Kydyr’s good news blessing. Jesus is the promised and merciful son from Isaac’s lineage (Genesis 17–18; Quran 37:101–113). Manas’ father, Jacob, also received a blessing from Kydyr. “We blessed Isaac, and after Isaac, Jacob.” Our father Jacob read the Quran. Both the Quran and Gospel announce Jesus’ birth as good news through a heavenly messenger. In our epic, Manas is also the promised son. Compare Quran 11:69–77 with Quran 37:99–113.

28. Quran 15:26–47

God commands all angels to bow before man, but Satan refuses to bow to man.

Reflection: Only God is worthy of worship. No created beings or humans are worthy of worship. So why did God command angels to bow before Adam, created from clay, in the Quran? There is one “Man” worthy of worship. Satan could not deceive this Man. If angels or people do not bow before this Man, they will go to hell. This Man never sinned—our eternal Kydyr, the flawless representative of God and paradise. Only He is perfect, the only one Satan could not influence (Quran 39, 40, 42, 46, 47; 3:36–37; 19:19). Other prophets are merely God’s messengers, but Jesus is God’s message, “His Word,” and “His Spirit.” The breath from God is worthy of worship. A messenger is worthy of honor. “The first man, Adam, became a living soul; the last Adam became a life-giving Spirit” (1 Corinthians 15:45–47). This last Adam, the “life-giving Spirit,” is worshipped by all angels. Those angels who did not worship Him became demons. Now they bring destruction and death to the earth. Satan deceives all nations (Revelation 12:9). Perhaps those in my nation opposing Jesus have been deceived by Satan’s lies (Revelation 13). My neighbor Tashkankul went to Chechnya to fight and even killed people. If our mullahs and imams taught us about the true Islam of “Jesus, son of Mary,” our world would be entirely different. I will reprove our mullahs for what they must be reproved. I will teach God’s truth. Until my last breath, I will sing and proclaim it with all my heart. I am Kyrgyz. Amen. Angels who bow to the Heavenly Man will come in the hereafter, defeating Satan and gathering true believers (Matthew 24:31).

29. Quran 18:60–82

Moses and Kydyr.

Reflection: In this verse, Kydyr does not speak like God’s messenger but like God Himself. Kydyr says, “We intended.” Only God refers to Himself as “We.” This verse proves Kydyr was alive during Moses’ time and guided him. Compare this with John 21:1–14, where Peter finds Jesus by the water’s edge cooking fish and enables him to catch many living fish. This verse is foundational for many Sufi Muslims, who seem to draw their understanding of Kydyr from it.

30. Quran 19:16–21

The holy conception and Jesus’ birth.

Verse 16: Pregnant Mary heads east. This signifies that when Jesus, Mary’s son, returns, He will come from the east.

Reflection: This is why Kyrgyz await the white blessing from the east. My grandfather woke me early to look east for the day’s blessing. He told me to seek Kydyr riding a donkey and await each day’s blessing. Our hero Manas also prayed facing east. While praying to Heavenly Tengri facing east, he was pierced with a spear. Our sacred yurt and God’s holy sanctuary both face east (Exodus 27:13–16). Running Wolf, a Native American, told me the Navajo hogan, similar to a Kyrgyz yurt, also faces east. Altai villages face east too. These sacred dwellings are oriented east to welcome God’s glory. Ezekiel 43:2, 4; 44:2: Kydyr—Jesus always enters Jerusalem from the east (John 8:1–2; Luke 19:28–29). Is Jesus the Messiah God’s mercy and God’s glory? Quran 19:16 and 23:50 say Mary fled her people to the east to give birth to Jesus.

Verse 17: Jesus was conceived by the Holy Spirit in Mary. He is completely pure, not conceived from human fluid (Quran 86:5–7), and Satan could never touch Him (Quran 3:36–37). He was conceived by God’s breath (Quran 21:91).

Genesis 2:8; 3:24: The Tree of Life in the east.

Ezekiel 11:23: “The glory of the Lord went up from the city and stood on the mountain east of the city.”

Reflection: I believe Jesus was a great hope for my ancestors. We have always awaited Kydyr—Jesus’ blessing.

Verse 19: Mary bore a “flawless son.” Jesus never sinned, unlike other prophets. Even the great Muhammad (peace be upon him) needed forgiveness for his sins (Quran 47:19; 48:2). Only Jesus is sinless, God’s glory. Satan has no power over Jesus. Only Jesus could defeat Satan.

Verse 21: Jesus is “God’s mercy” and a “sign for all nations.”

Reflection: When I heard and understood that God sent Kydyr as a sign for my people, I marveled at God’s mercy. God never abandoned us. Kydyr—Jesus reveals God’s love for us. He is compassionate and wants to bless us always so we can be happy. He is more merciful than a mother loving her child. This world is so full of human pride and hatred that there is no room for such love and humility. The Gospel, especially Romans, elaborates on God’s mercy as described in this Quranic verse.

31. Quran 19:52

We (God) called him (Moses) from the right side of the mountain and drew him near for a close conversation.

Reflection: At Mount Sinai, Moses spoke with God (Exodus 19:3). Moses also spoke with Kydyr—Jesus on the mountain (Mark 9).

32. Quran 21:91

We (God) breathed into her, and made her son a sign for all people. Behold, this is your religion, one religion. I am your Lord, so worship Me.

Reflection: No other person, prophet, king, or imam can unite humanity. The best aspects of Judaism, Christianity, Islam, and our cultural beliefs align with Jesus. Our Kydyr is the only one who can help in times of trouble. God, Muhammad, and the Holy Quran are great witnesses that there is no one in Islam like Jesus. We are “one religion.” In Jesus, there is no Jew, Christian, or Muslim (Galatians 3:28). The Pakistani professor told me that before the Byzantine wars, Muslims believed in the books of Christians and Jews. Later, Islamic sultans claimed Jews and Christians corrupted God’s books, the Torah and Gospel. This was likely due to politics. This foolish rumor caused the division of religions. Perhaps this historical event led to Islam losing its great influence on the world. When Islam hadn’t yet spread this lie about God’s books, we were the most educated, architecturally advanced, and politically developed people. Since we believed this lie about God, our inventions, victories, and discoveries stopped. We could offer nothing to the international arena. Islam lost God’s creative breath, Kydyr—Jesus.

33. Quran 10:64

God’s Word does not change; this is the great victory.

Reflection: I believe this verse. I believe in all of God’s words, books, and prophets. Man cannot change God’s Word. When we believe in God, we will become one religion again and achieve great victories.

34. Quran 22:24

They are led to the glorious path.

Reflection: Psalm 15:11: Yes, the one who met my grandfather and gave him a blessing led me to the right path. Jesus says He is “the glorious path” (John 14). Rumi said the paths walked by saints are the model for Sufis. Kydyr is our heavenly companion and the guide of our spirit.

35. Quran 23:44

Whenever a messenger came to a people, they did not accept him.

Reflection: Kydyr—Jesus, God’s messenger, came to Kyrgyzstan and Islam. But both Kyrgyzstan and Islam rejected Him. May God have mercy and forgive us. I believe the current generation, unlike the previous one that grew up under Soviet rule and foreign influence, will not reject God’s clear revelations.

36. Quran 23:50

We made Jesus, son of Mary, and his mother a sign, and gave them refuge on a high place with springs.

Reflection: God placed Kydyr—Jesus on a mountain. Today, my people find Him there. Kydyr—Jesus, the shepherd, seeks God’s lost sheep (Ezekiel 34; John 10). Jesus will take us to our Edenic refuge, like a Kyrgyz groom carrying his bride (Matthew 24:30–31; John 14:2–3; Revelation 7:17; Quran 39:45–51). Though our bride-kidnapping tradition may be wrong, perhaps it stems from this? Jesus came to earth and stole the hearts of many. We agreed to live with Him in heaven. He comes when we least expect, carrying us away to His home. Thus, we must always be ready for His coming. Our bride-kidnapping tradition often happens with the bride’s consent. Perhaps we shouldn’t abolish it but adapt it to resemble our journey to paradise. The groom must first win the bride’s love and consent, then prepare a home for her, and only then be ready to carry her away.

37. Quran 37:99–113

Abraham’s sacrifice. We gave him good news of a son and provided a substitute sacrifice.

Reflection: The son was offered as a great sacrifice. I, too, am offered to this great sacrifice. Today, the hands of the sacrificed are outstretched, and I am free from God’s judgment. I am truly free.

38. Quran 40:69–72
Do you see those who dispute God’s signs and how they are turned away? They rejected the Book We sent to Our messengers. When heavy burdens are placed on their necks and chains bind them, they will be cast into boiling water and burned in fire.

Reflection: The whole world disputes Jesus, God’s sign for all nations. The Gospel (New Testament) is a book from God (Quran 3:3–4), containing revelations given to Jesus, God’s messenger. Those who do not believe in these miraculous revelations will have iron chains placed on their necks, be cast into boiling water, and then thrown into burning fire. Thank God for speaking these things clearly. I showed Ruslan these Quranic verses, but he still didn’t believe in the Gospel. He said if we don’t align with Arab teachers, our nation will be divided. How did foreigners manage to deceive Kyrgyz Ruslan? These Arab deceptions confuse us. Maksat thinks if mullahs and imams didn’t ban God’s books, the world would be entirely different. Arab teachers contribute to the chaos in Sudan and Indonesia today. They fuel wars in the Philippines, Algeria, Afghanistan, Kurdistan, Iran, Iraq, America, Yemen, Ethiopia, Israel, Lebanon, Turkey, the Balkans, and elsewhere. They pay for bombings, intimidation, and conflicts. Half of today’s global conflicts seem to stem from opposition to Arab teachings. Of course, Arabs have feelings of hurt and offense like us. But their teachings deceive Muslims worldwide, bringing calamity. “If they had upheld the Torah, Gospel, and all revelations sent by the Lord, they would have enjoyed happiness from every side” (Quran 5:66).

39. Quran 42:13, 15

God gave the same religion to Noah, Abraham, Moses, and Jesus with sincerity: therefore, you must hold fast to the religion and avoid division. God guides those who turn to Him and brings us to unity.

Reflection: Noah, Abraham, Moses, and Jesus teach the unity of religion. How do they teach this?

40. Quran 47:25–26

Those who turned back after guidance was given to them were enticed by Satan with false hopes. They said to those who hate God’s revelations, “We will obey you in some matters.”

Reflection: I will never obey those who hate God’s revelations and the Gospel.

41. Quran 57:26–27

We sent Jesus, son of Mary, and gave him the Gospel, and placed compassion and mercy in the hearts of those who follow him.

Reflection: God places compassion and mercy in the hearts of those who follow Jesus. Cholpon’s compassion for orphans is astonishing. She walks with ragged, unkempt people without fear of seeing them or catching their dirt. This is true mercy. When I tasted God’s mercy, I began showing mercy to others. If someone says they believe in Jesus, it means nothing to me. What matters is seeing God’s compassion in their hearts. There are many hypocrites in religion.

42. Quran 62:14

Believers, be God’s helpers, as Jesus, son of Mary, said, “Who will be My helpers for God?”

Reflection: Those who help Jesus are true believers in God’s eyes. This has nothing to do with our religion but with whom we serve. I know Muslims like Cholpon who serve God by serving Jesus. We are not Christians or Jews; we are God’s servants, submitting to His mercy.

43. Quran 67:1

Blessed is He who holds all authority in His hand.

Reflection: “My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. I give them eternal life, and they will never perish. No one can snatch them from My hand” (John 10:27–29). Everything belonging to Jesus is in God’s hand.

44. Quran 74:38–39

Every soul will be accountable for its deeds, except those on the right hand.

Reflection: Islam’s great Quran says every person will pay for their sins. But those on the right hand are different. We Kyrgyz say Kydyr is God’s right hand. Those who are with Kydyr are on God’s right hand. Those with Kydyr and on God’s right hand are free.

Matthew 25: Those who feed the hungry, heal the sick, visit prisoners, and clothe the naked are on God’s right hand. Those on the right hand continue the work Kydyr began. In the *Manas* epic, Kydyr meets Manas and promises to help him on Judgment Day. The hole in Kydyr’s hand is God’s payment for Manas’ soul.

Zechariah 12:10: God says, “They will look on the one they pierced.”

John 19:34: “One of the soldiers pierced His side with a spear, and immediately blood and water came out.”

John 20:24–29: Jesus said to Thomas, “Put your hand here and touch My hands and side. Stop doubting and believe.”

Manas also died from wounds pierced by a spear. Jesus is truly “God’s mercy,” God’s right hand (Quran 19:21; Mark 16:19). His soul was the price paid for our souls to be free.

Psalm 31:1–2: “Blessed is the one whose sins are not counted.”

This is the blessing Jacob, Manas, and their people must bring to the nations (Genesis 12:1–3). This is the joy I will proclaim from our mountains (Isaiah 52:7). God extends His hand in times of trouble (Deuteronomy 32:39–40). No one can escape His hand (John 10:29).

Psalm 110:1: “The Lord said to my Lord, ‘Sit at My right hand until I make Your enemies Your footstool.’” The Messiah Jesus comes to judge Satan and unbelievers. God will make all Jesus’ enemies His footstool.

Quran 3:52–58: Those who do not believe in Jesus do not believe in God.

45. Quran 86:5–7

Man is created from a flowing fluid.

Reflection: Kydyr—Jesus was not created from fluid (semen) like other humans. Kydyr—Jesus is a completely new Man, God’s living breath.

46. Quran 89:22

Your Lord comes with ranks of angels.

Reflection: The Quran and Gospel confirm our Lord comes from heaven with an army of angels.

Revelation 19:11–21: The Messiah—Kydyr, Islam’s final hero, defeats Satan, Islam’s enemy. He comes dressed in white with heavenly armies.

Matthew 24:27–31: “Like lightning from the east to the west.” Jesus comes like the dawn. He always enters the holy city from the east, like the dawn. He is the dawn blessing our ancestors have awaited. “The sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and all the tribes of the earth will mourn. They will see Him coming on the clouds with power and great glory. He will send His angels with a trumpet call, and they will gather His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.” Kydyr’s children (40 angels) help Manas on Judgment Day in the same way. They take him from his resting place to God. For those who do not believe, the gates of paradise are closed, and they remain far from God’s mercy. “You who are hidden, arise and endure for the Lord! For the trumpet will sound; that day will be a day of distress, a day of anguish for unbelievers” (Quran 74:1, 7–10).

47. Quran 90 (The City)

God leads man to the mountain paths, but man refuses to climb. So God explains the way out: to free from slavery, feed the hungry, give families to orphans and the unfortunate, and love patience and compassion. “This is the mercy of the right hand.” Those who do not believe in God’s revelations are on the left hand and will be cast into fire (Quran 90:10–20).

Reflection: This surah speaks of mountain paths and the right hand, connecting to many verses in the Quran, Torah, Psalms, and Gospel:

Matthew 25:31–46 (Mercy of the right hand)

Psalm 14 and 15 (Those on the mountain path)

Isaiah 58 (The religion pleasing to God)
Psalm 2 (The rejected mountain king)

Matthew 5–7 (The mountain message)

Luke 13:22–35 and Matthew 7:13–14 (The two paths)

Isaiah 2:2–5 and Isaiah 65 (The mountain refuge/religion)

Quran 19:16–18: Mary takes refuge to give birth to Jesus.

Revelation 12: Satan hurries to kill the male child born to the woman, destined to rule the nations. God gives refuge to the child and woman.

Quran 23:50: God gives Jesus a mountain refuge.

Mark 9:2–8 (The mountain revelation)

Numbers 35 (Cities of refuge)

An avenger cannot touch a murderer in a city of refuge, similar to those on the right hand—whose sins are not counted (Quran 74:38–39; Psalm 31:1–2).

Revelation 21:10 (The heavenly city seen from the mountain)

48. Quran 97:4–5 (Al-Qadr, The Night of Power)

With the Lord’s permission, angels and the Spirit descend there.

Reflection: Angels come to Jesus (Matthew 3:16–17; John 1:51). They are also Kydyr’s descendants from Jacob (Genesis 28).

49. Quran 98 (The Clear Evidence)

Those who received clear evidence did not differ from the People of the Book. They were commanded to serve God and keep religion pure. Unbelievers will dwell in hellfire, but those who believe and do good are the best of creation, rewarded with Eden’s gardens.

Reflection: Jesus came “with clear evidence” (Quran 19:16–38). He is the Holy Scripture in human form, “God’s Word” (John 1; Quran 3:45). Jesus’ coming brings division to the People of the Book (Quran 3:45–58). He brought a word that divides people into believers and unbelievers. Those who reject Him are guilty because they disbelieve God’s clear evidence (Quran 3:56). Jesus is the “clear evidence,” a sign revealed to every heart (John 3:17–21; Quran 21:91–92; Luke 2:34–35). “Those who believe and do good are the best of creation.” Didn’t God exalt Jesus’ disciples as the best of creation above unbelievers (Quran 3:55)? Aida says true believers are given Eden’s garden. Everything begins and ends with paradise. Our sacred places (mazars) have trees and flowing water. In these sacred places, we meet Kydyr. This vision recalls Adam walking with God in Eden’s garden.

50. Quran 110 (The Help)

When God’s help comes, victory arrives, and people enter God’s religion, they celebrate and glorify their Lord, praying for forgiveness, for He is near.

Reflection: God’s help has come to Kyrgyzstan many times. Many have received His help, saved from Satan’s hand through His mighty hands, and entered God’s religion. We will not celebrate victory until we partake in God’s “great victory” (Quran 10:64).

51. Quran 113 (The Dawn)

Say, “I seek refuge in the Lord of the dawn.”

The Gospel shows who the dawn is (Luke 1:78–79) and that we must take refuge in the “Lord of the Dawn.”

52. Matthew 16:24–27

Jesus said to His disciples, “If anyone wants to follow Me, let them deny themselves, take up their cross, and follow Me. For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for Me will find it. When the Son of Man comes with His angels in His Father’s glory, He will reward each according to their deeds.”

Reflection: Revelation 2:28: “I will give him the morning star.” I will follow You, Jesus. With all my strength, until my last breath, I will cling to You. You come like the dawn—as the Quran says, You breathe life into a lifeless body, and only You can do this. Come, Dawn, come quickly.

Alisher Navoi’s Writings

Reflection: Romeo, the ancient Muslim writer Rumi and Alisher Navoi’s words about Jesus and Kydyr are taken from the English translation of *The Sufi Path of Love*. Ancient Arab Muslims also called Jesus “God’s Word” and “God’s Spirit,” as found in Geoffrey Parrinder’s *Jesus in the Quran* and Tarif Khalidi’s *The Muslim Jesus*. I’ll send you these books along with two others containing dialogues about Kydyr—Jesus by ancient Muslims. Our translator said a young researcher is working on ancient texts. The young man had lines from Alisher Navoi’s poetry, with translations written before each line. One line in the ancient language reads: *Hosallilah, sharbatimni zahri kotil birla ez, Chun ish ondin o’tikkim, kelgai Masihim; ey tabib* (Volume 1:100). Translation: I have no need to call a physician; the Messiah is my healer. Alisher Navoi used the title “Mashayak,” the Quranic term for Messiah. Jesus is the only prophet with the title Messiah in the Quran. Thus, we know Alisher Navoi is speaking of Jesus here. Other writings include:

- I found life in the Messiah, for He is life (114).

- The Messiah gives you eternal life. His prayers are powerful and can raise the dead (145).

- Messiah, my heart is wounded, come to me; You can do all things (357).

- You cannot give yourself life. Only the Messiah can work miracles. He raised the dead (404).

- Jesus gave us life. He knows all things (431).

- Water is life; the Messiah is living water (Volume 2:78).

- The Messiah is unique in the world (106).

- The Messiah’s word gives you life (111).

- A spirit comes to you; that spirit belongs to the Messiah (376).

- If you are sick, you need the Messiah’s living breath. Think of Jesus (Volume 3:20).

- I found great love in the Messiah (46).

Reflection: Alisher Navoi called Jesus “Masih Kyzar” (Messiah Kydyr). Thus, I am not the first Central Asian to uncover Kydyr’s identity. Alisher Navoi revealed this secret 400 years ago. He was a man with the white blessing. I must pass this secret to my people as a legacy so that mullahs do not kill me and hide this truth for another four or five hundred years. This is Central Asia’s new opportunity for freedom.

Appendix III: My Final Letter to Jack

Jack,

I just arrived in Bishkek and met with the delegation. It was wonderful that they were all here. We all agreed to let the Holy Scriptures speak for themselves. Our Kyrgyz accept only the Quran and the Hebrew books as the Christians’ Bible. Therefore, there’s no need to include the Talmud, Hadith, or other folk books. My joy overflows. This is the purest religion.

Thank you, Jack, for all your help! Dreams do come true. It would be great if you were here too.

Ciao,

Romeo

The Dawn of the Third Millennium: Central Asia’s ancestral legends and sacred mountains unveiled. Come, step inside.

The prophet of Central Asia’s epic did not remain hidden in darkness. He rose above all barriers to teach all generations and nations. He clearly stated that to receive the white blessing, as the Jewish God says in the Torah, we must submit to the Spirit’s guidance and live a perfect life. The Christians’ Heavenly Father says in their Bible that this nomadic holy man unites all; and Islam’s God says in their Quran that this prophet—the Messiah—is the mightiest Muslim on earth. At last, Central Asia’s Kydyr is revealed to us.

He creates a unique spiritual crossroads in human history. You may say you know Him. But look again. Your perspective of Him may be too narrow.

Do not fall into the trap of the world’s giants or those who belittle the mountain people and their legendary prophet. The world’s rejection could not dampen this unique people’s spirit. The world’s mockery and global wars could not stop the Almighty’s great plans. He began an unstoppable work among peace-lovers.

Open your heart to the blessings of ancient hills. Delight in the legendary waters of the nomads and let their forgotten healer touch your soul.
